Welcome
Organized June 1, 2006, the Northwest Community Band comprises approximately 60 musicians from north and west Fort Worth and surrounding communities in Tarrant, Parker and Wise counties. Membership is open to anyone with a desire to make music, and our roster includes business professionals, public servants, clergy and church staff members, school teachers and administrators, students, retirees and more.
In preparation for a series of summer concerts, Christmas concert and spring concert, we rehearse on designated Thursday evenings from 7:15 - 8:45 p.m. at the Azle High School band hall, located at 1200 Boyd Road in Azle, Texas. Our musical director and conductor is Dr. Ross Grant.
Rehearsals resume Nov. 12 for holiday concert
The Northwest Community Band will resume rehearsals Nov. 12 for a Dec. 6 holiday concert. The NCB will rehearse Nov. 12 and 19, take a Thanksgiving break on Nov. 26, and rehearse again Dec. 3. Rehearsals are from 7:15-8:45 p.m. at the Azle High School band hall.
